- Have at least 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care
- Have previous experience in a nursing supervisor or charge nurse role
- Are a natural leader who can guide, support, and hold your team accountable
- Hold an active RN license in Arkansas
- Are applying for the first time to this position
- Can work Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM and step in on the floor when needed

- Partner with the DON to organize, develop, and guide the nursing department
- Ensure staff follow policies and deliver high-quality care
- Oversee care plans and attend care plan meetings
- Perform regular chart audits and report findings to the DON
- Help with scheduling, staffing, and leading nursing team meetings
- Lead or support trainings (infection control, QA, 5-Star, Med A, wound care, etc.)
- Handle HR-related functions for your team
- Address resident and family concerns quickly and professionally
- Step into the leadership role when the DON is unavailable
- Pitch in on the floor when needed -- you're not above the work, and we respect that
- Serve on clinical committees as assigned
